ESPN and other outlets are reporting that the Miami Heat are finalizing a deal to send Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick!

Butler has reportedly agreed to a new two-year deal worth $121 million dollars. Does this trade make the Warriors a contender? Let me know what you think in the comments section.

In short no! Is he an upgrade to to Wiggins? YES! they may now make the play in tournament! That’s about it.

this does not make them a contender. Maybe 6th seed at best. Potentially dangerous if they get hot. However, I think LA, OKC, Denver, Boston, and Cleveland are still all much better than G.S. He definitely gives them even more grit and will help with spacing the floor for Steph. Look for Steph numbers to improve.
